[Update] Amazon.ca: God of War Collection for $30

UPDATE: Word on the street (the street being RFD) is that EB has dropped the price on this to $24.99 in-store price. I got out my fancy calculator and by my calculations I’ve come to the conclusion that that price is $5 cheaper than Amazon PLUS it doesn’t have to be shipped. This is not really confirmed or anything so you should probably call your local EB before running out of your house. If you’re not buying this right now you should be. Ok go buy it now. Ok now. Ok go.

Original Post: So here I was drinking my coffee and eating a delicious Cranberry Blueberry Tim Horton’s muffin and what do I see on RFD? Amazon selling God of War Collection for the very sexy price of $30. It kind of makes me angry because I bought it when it was brand new for $40 and it’s still in the wrapper. I was so angry about this I just squashed my delicious Tim Horton’s Cranberry Blueberry bran muffin. I kind of regret doing that.

Steam: Psychonauts for $2 – You Buy Now

WTF! It looks like Steam is trying to unload all those unopened copies of Psychonauts they have lying around and they’re letting them go at an unreal price – $2. Many will argue that Psychonauts is Tim Schafer’s best game and while I would have to disagree with them (Grim Fandango represent!) it is a pretty damn good game. Go get it and hug it and love it because it’s awesome and cheap.

Xbox Live Deal of the Week for February 1: Splosion Man

Major Nelson announced today that next weeks Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week will be Twisted Pixel’s platformer Splosion Man for 50% off. That means you’ll be able to Splode all over the place for the meager price of 400 microsoft moon dollars. If you double that with the deal on Microsoft points that RCSS has on right now it brings the price down even more. Also worth mentioning, like all Xbox LIVE DotW, it is only available to Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers.

This is a deal that I will be (sploding) all over. I’ve been waiting for a price drop on Splosion Man and you’d be an idiot not to spend $5 on it. Don’t be an idiot. Buy it.
